Accepting the Invitation

No matter how many times the Lord has extended the invitation to come unto Him, to allow Him to help us through our sorrows and lighten our burdens, so many of us accept this gracious and loving invite with only half a heart. Others still respond with outright refusal, insisting that they need no one, that they can handle their trials alone. These people don't truly know the Father and the Son, and many don't want to.

Well, guess what? The Lord is still standing with that twofold invite - He is still inviting us into His arms, and He is still waiting for us to fully invite Him into our hearts and lives. He hasn't given up because He loves us, and He knows that in the coming times, the trials are only going to get harder.
And believe me, there is no one more qualified to help us through them.
